Sergio won the Texas Mountain Bike Championship, Beginner 2003 and Sport 2005. The same year he ranked number one National Sport Cross Country. For 2006, his goals are to be top ten Expert in the Texas Mountain Bike Fall series, and upgrade to Cat 3 on the road.

From races around the block to day-long epics, Sergio rode bikes from an early age. His first race was in Comfort, Texas 2002. He was there just to watch but all of a sudden found himself racing, and hasn’t stopped since.

Over his few racing years, Sergio has demonstrated to be a versatile and determined contender. Racing in different modalities, he is an overall strong rider, and relentless when he has to drop the competition.

With Colombian blood running through his veins, Sergio wouldn’t mind being a professional cyclist, but he made a career out of his passion for buildings and technology. Also, by traveling and enjoying the outdoors with Lina and Coco, Sergio cannot ask more from life.
