Reed has been road racing since 2003, as well as participating at the track in 2005. Several high placings on the track and improvement on the road have marked his career, including multiple high placings and one win in the 2007 season. His immediate goals are to upgrade to Cat 3 this season, with long term goals of improving his sprint and eventually working to a Cat 2.

Reed has been active in cycling for over 15 years, starting as a teenager. Recently Reed has found a renewed passion for the sport after taking a hiatus from it during college. A large powerful rider, Reed has found a niche in time trialing and consistently performs well on longer courses.

Outside of cycling, Reed is recently married and has discovered his talents as a home-improvement husband. He graduated with his MBA from Rice University in 2007 and works for KPMG in the financial risk department.
