During his cycling career Mark has had the opportunity to compete in several of the classic races held in the Midwest (International Cycling Classic (Super Week), Gateway Cup, and Hotter Then Hell. He now wants to focus on support of teammates and their goals.

Mark started cycling with friends that were already into racing as a hobby. His first race distance as a Cat 5 was an unusual 100 miles at Hotter Then Hell. His consistent dedication has helped him achieve his goals.

Mark has recently began participating in Ironman Triathlons and was able to qualify and participate in the 2006 Hawaii Ironman. He also enjoys snow skiing and hiking with family and friends.
