"I've
loved cycling ever since I came into possession of a Schwinn complete with
banana seat and the high-riser rear bar. Now if only I could find an
ergonomically correct banana seat for my road bike."
Ken has promoted over 25 bike races, was a Category 2 referee, and has raced
for 30 years. He wants to be the United States road racing champion, even if
that means waiting for his competition to die off.
His dad entered him in a junior bike race, and the rest is history. He
perseveres in the face of superior talent, and prefers long and hilly road
races.
Ken enjoys walking his dogs with his wife Kathy. He does the daily crossword
and Sudoku in ink, and thinks that those who use pencils aren't worthy. He
is the manager of the Operating Systems group for the Mission Control Center
and Integrated Planning Systems at Johnson Space Center.
