“Cycling gives
me the opportunity to forget the world for a while and focus on nothing
serious.”
James has participated in numerous races in the past and is currently
attempting to get back into cycling after multiple sessions with an
orthopedic surgeon’s scalpel. He is hoping to recover well enough to attend
more races this year and to be able to participate in some of the endurance
races this fall.
James started mountain biking in 1998. His first race was The Warda Race on
March 5, 2000. He is able to maintain an even, steady pace on the mountain
bike trails for extended periods of time.
When the real world forces James to return to it, he keeps the network and
computer systems functioning for a small city in the Houston area. He also
enjoys gardening and reading.
