"Cycling is what
keeps me fit and healthy. It allows me to enjoy the finer things in life,
without too much added weight. It has taken me to some beautiful places
around the world."
In the five years since transitioning from triathlons to cycling, Henry has
raced in all types of races; road, track, mountain bike, and cyclocross. He
hates sitting in, and can always be counted on to get to the front and cause
trouble. Henry wants his work life to settle down, so he can refocus on his
goals to cat up in all the disciplines he races in.
Henry was probably born on a bicycle. He certainly has ridden them all his
life. In the late 1990’s he started racing triathlons in California. After a
number of years of that, and moving to Texas, he switched to just cycling.
He now has a whole stable of bikes, ranging from a unicycle to a tandem,
with their own room in his house.
In addition to cycling, his passion is sailing and boats, which explains his
profession as a Naval Architect. He lives with his wife in the Upper Kirby
area of Houston. |
