This is Bill's second full year of road racing, mostly in Cat.4's, but also in age group events. His highlight to date is his 2nd place finish in the 2006 Texas State Age Based Time Trial Championshis in Men's 50-54. His goal is to become a Cat.3, and to race competitively in Men's 55+ events next year.

Bill started cycling in July, 2003, as part of a rehabilitation program following his 6th knee surgery. He started racing the following year to see what it was like. Bill's strengths are his stamina and persistence.

Bill has been married to Beverly for 26 years. He got her to start riding 1 1/2 years ago they now enjoy it together. They also have a dog "Kujo" aka "Race Dog" who goes to all the races with them.
