"Being father has given me a new outlook on life, I still like to ride but now I appreciate the experience more so that the outing. Life is beautiful and even more so when you live it." 
 
Alex is a former TMBRA and TXBRA State Champ but is most proud of building the foundations of Team Tilson Homes and the great friends he has met along the way. Alex would like to get his Pro card on the Mountain Bike soon and also has dreams of owning his own bicycle store.

He got into cycling by doing the COM-BAT Tri where he was reintroduced to Russ Cooper owner of Webster Bicycle (A former rival in the BMX days). He was then introduced to Bein S., who showed him the “in’s and out’s” of amateur cycling. Alex enjoys cycling because of the preparation and strategies involved plus the camaraderie of the various personalities of the Team (some of those guys are just crazy).  
 
Alex loves spending time with his Girls; Wife Tina and Daughter Mia. They have plans to grow the family a little more and start a little soccer team if their own. Other Hobbies include; anything with the Girls, anything cycling, anything music and having a good time.
