Texas State Criterium Championships

Great race. About two laps in to the race, I jumped off the front and opened up a 10 sec gap and extended that gap up to 25 sec 'till there was a wreck in the brutal second to last turn. Then the lead opened up to 35 secs...

Fayetteville Stage Race

March 17 & 18, 2007  Cat 3 report:
Jason, Lance, and I started the Cat 3 race. RR 1 was a relatively predictable affair w/everyone racing pretty cautiously to conserve for the afternoon TT. However

Tapatio Springs

March 4, 2007  Blood and Boulder’s, Switchbacks, Drop-offs, and Stair step’s were all there this weekend at the Tapatio resort. Even those that pre-rode ahead of time were not guaranteed to not fall victim to the carnage this course could bring you...

Primavera I & II at Lago Vista

March 3 & 4, 2007  Lago Vista is one of the best and fastest race courses on the TXBRA calendar. It is a 5.5 mile circuit that has some good climbs and fast descents...

Yellow Feast

The Houston Grand Criterium turned out to be a truly GRAND event! A greatly organized race with food, massages and freebies for everyone thanks to our generous sponsors. Tilson Homes put in a lot of effort and money...

Big Ringing in The New Year

The New Year was 5 months ago but today was the Houston Big Ring challenge and the team used it to show what we have in store for the future...

The Magnificent Tilson

What an incredible weekend of racing! Clear, warm and dry weather was the standard all weekend long. The race started off with a 16-mile TT. The first half was slightly uphill with a steady headwind, while the return trip to the finish line was a FAST tailwind downhill!...

Guess Who's Back

The New Year was 5 months ago but today was the Houston Big Ring challenge and the team used it to show what we have in store for the future...

Tilson, the New Legend

The highlight was Jimmy's awesome 4th place finish in the P12 field! His first Cat 2 race and he gets in the winning break! Phenomenal!...

The Fast and the Furious

The Heights Crit was an event for the fast and furious! LOTS of very fast turns and windy straights made it extremely technical...

Not the Usual Smile at the Bottle Feed

His Heart Beating out his Chest

Congratulations to all the Tilson riders for a great weekend at Fayetteville! Oscar, Bill and Jason raced in Cat 4.  Oscar raced well but had to pull out on Sunday with "his heart beating out his chest"...

That didn't Taste Like Dirt

The venue was in a town named Comfort, but this day was far from it.  The weather man said we were under a tornado warning. Oh well, let’s go race...

Wanted to Get a Piece of It

As many of you were not aware because I didn’t mention it to many people), I went over to Austin to race the Belterra Circuit Race today. It looked like a grueling course and I wanted to get a piece of it!...

Allen Endos, Finishes First, First Time

The venue was close so I, like all of the team, drove up Sunday morning.  The air was thick with moisture and tension.  Tension that erupted into rain as soon as the gun went off...

You are in for a Treat, 2006

What’s up everybody? You are in for a treat now. I have been pegged as unofficial race reporter for the team’s mountain bike adventures this spring. That means after each race from here on out check the site for some not so funny content, lots of gear talk, and King Kong amounts of bad grammar...

A Fun Year, 2005 Finished Strong

With a new title sponsor, Team Tilson Homes started and finished the year stronger than ever.  The Tapatio National was probably the most challenging race anyone of us has made, while Terlingua was unbelievable fun.  The 2005 season was the best Team Tilson Homes has ever seen.
